Peninsula Business Curbside Recycling
Pilot program available for Charleston Peninsula businesses.
This is an opportunity for your business to participate in an environmentally-focused, recycling pilot program for local businesses. It's the first of its kind in the Lowcountry.
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
- Place your recyclable material on the street by 6 a.m.
- Make sure you break down your cardboard.
- We cannot accept waxed cardboard.
- Place your cooking oil on top of a piece of cardboard.
- If you are interested in oyster shell recycling, please call Fisher Recycling at (843) 554-6099.
RATES & PROCEDURES
- Cardboard Pick-up (FREE)
- Cooking Oil (FREE)
- Wine Corks (FREE)
- Oyster Shells ($20 per pickup)
Please Note: Cardboard, cooking oil and cork pick-up is only available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Oyster shell recycling is available six days a week.
Beginning at King and Line Street. Includes King Street to Market Street. From North Market and South Market, then right on Meeting Street and right on Hayne Street. Return to Meeting Street (by way of Pinckney & Hasell Streets).
