New Product for 2007

GlassGlass
The glass Fisher collects from arearestaurants and offices, typicaly 70 tons per month, is going to be reprocessed at the warehouse into other glass products. The compounds used to form the concrete / glass counters are perfect for kitchens, bath vanities or tabletops. Countertops, glass tiles, glass peebles for pathways and landscape sand are products that will be offered within the next couple of months.

VermicompostingVermicomposting Vermicomposting
A "worm" compostin station has also begun this year. Volunteers from Fisher's restaurant customers have agreed to collect food scraps for the compost, as well as grass clippings from neighborhood lawns. There is a drop site at the warehouse for yard debris that will be ground for the compost. The final product will be offered for sale for landscape use and home gardens in Spring 2008.

E-Waste E-Waste
Old computers, printers and outmoded electronics that are collected are separated at the warehouse into areas where the community will have access to refurbishing their own electronis. Although, somme of the material is obsolete or damaged, much of the E-Waste can be reborn with a little electrical knowledge by the consumer. The remaining scraps will be recycled in the industry for other uses.
