Fisher Recycling LLC Expands to Myrtle Beach
Charleston, SC --- Fisher Recycling LLC has closed the deal with their first franchisee. Pawleys Island residents, Kira and Steve Roff have signed on to become the first official Fisher Recycling LLC franchise operation. Fisher Recycling Grand Strand will provide recycling services for residents and businesses from Georgetown to Little River, including Horry and Georgetown counties. Beginning this month, services will include waste audits, providing recycling containers and pick up, training employees and members of the community on ways to be environmentally-conscience, residential curbside pick-up, as well as oyster shell recycling for local restaurants.
The Roffs are actively meeting with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and a variety of Myrtle Beach-area businesses to conduct waste audits and determine their recycling needs. Individuals or businesses interested in learning about recycling services, should contact Kira Roff at kira@fisherrecycling.com or (843) 314-3512.
"Selecting our first franchisee was something we took very seriously. Fisher Recycling has worked diligently over the years to build a strong reputation in the community and the region," explains Chris Fisher, founder of Fisher Recycling LLC and the Fisher franchise operation. "When we met Kira and Steve, their passion and dedication was immediately evident and it didn't take us long to realize they were the ideal addition to the Fisher family."
"We understand the ecological importance and positive impact that recycling can have on the environment and we're committed, personally and professionally, to educating our local community on how we can work together to make a difference," says Kira Roff, former vice president of operations and events for Brookgreen Gardens and implementer of the Gardens first recycling program.
Steve Roff, Kira's husband and vice president of the Fisher Recycling Grand Strand office is no stranger to the environment either. A marine biologist and dedicated environmentalist, Roff has been involved with community clean-up activities for years, including the popular beach sweep and adopt-a-highway programs.
"We are excited about bringing Fisher Recycling to the Grand Strand area and offering the same level of recycling service Charleston has been provided for years," explains Roff. "With the footprint that Myrtle Beach area makes on our environment, Kira and I knew this was the business that could fuel our passion for the environment and make a positive impact on our local community."
