What Our Customers Say
We began our recycling program with Fisher Recycling during April of this year. The recycling program that we have is single stream recycling, which means aluminum, glass, and plastic all go in the same container. I feel like it has been the easiest and most rewarding program that our business has implemented in some time. Our staff has really done a good job with the transition. I love walking through the kitchen and seeing the dishwasher look for the recycling symbol on the bottom of a container! Since we began, we have had to add another collection day as well as more roll away containers for our recycling material. In May, we nearly recycled 3 tons of material. Now we are starting to also see the monetary benefits because we are going to try to eliminate one of our 8 yard dumpsters for trash. Kira and Steve are very passionate about their business and were very helpful to us and our staff to begin recycling. Now that our recycling program is in full force we have been doing other incentives to become more green in other areas. We achieved the Green Hospitality Alliance Certification in the summer of 2010!

Steve and Kira, I just wanted to let you guys know how pleased we are with your presence here at the Myrtle Beach KOA. By initiating a recycling program we are now feeling more environmentally conscious and are receiving positive feedback from our guests for doing so. Working together with you we have been to able realize this with very little hands on from our part. In addition our waste disposal costs have dropped enough to easily cover the cost of your fine service. Go Green! Go Fisher! Go KOA!
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kira and Steve Roff from Fisher Recycling Grand Strand to set up CentraArchy Restaurant Company's recycling program. We are a multi-concept restaurant company with 5 different concepts along the Grand Strand (Carolina Roadhouse, Gulfstream Cafe New York Prime, Burro Loco, California Dreaming) with each restaurant having individual needs. Kira and Steve came to each restaurant, performed a waste audit and were able to customize the recycling for each site. Their passion and integrity for recycling is obvious by the intensity of their work and a true commitment to our planet. I look forward to working with them further, as our restaurants recycling program unfolds.
