Annual Surfrider Grand Strand Chilympics Cook-Off

Fisher Recycling Grand Strand is honored to recycle at this annual chili competition that benefits the Surfrider Foundation.  Tin, glass, plastic bottles/containers, aluminum and cardboard are recycling from both the restaurants participating and attendees during the event.       Thank you Surfrider for all you do! 


2010 and 2011 Murrells Inlet - Annual Oyster Roast
Fisher Recycling Grand Strand is proud to assist with the recycling of  aluminum cans, plastic water bottles and cardboard during the popular "Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast".   Oyster shells are recycled by participating restaurants and the SC-DNR.


Reduce, Reuse & Recycle - Presentations & Education at Waccamaw Elementary and Waccamaw Intermediate Schools in Pawleys Island 
Elementary and Intermediate School students at Waccamaw Schools learned all about what we can do to make a difference in our communities by reducing our waste, reusing materials and recycling through joint education efforts with Fisher Recycling - Grand Strand and Kristin Brown, the founder of MyECObag and EPA consultant.  Check out these cool "Eco shopping bags" ... and get one for yourself at: www.getmyeco.com


2010 and 2011 Murrells Inlet Spring Tide Clean Up
Fisher Recycling Grand Strand was proud to assist with the Spring Tide clean up in Murrells Inlet at Morse Park & Hot Fish Club.  Collectively, we recycled over 2,500 pounds of material: glass, plastic, aluminum and cardboard!
